CASE STUDY: Mercedes-Benz 'Best of the Best' Award Ceremony

WHAT WAS THE BRIEF?

We were asked to provide a complete event management, production and live music entertainment package for a ‘Best of the Best’ award ceremony, consisting of our world-class 7-piece wedding band plus a roaming jazz saxophonist. They wanted a spectacular lighting package, a photo booth area and exciting effects as each winner was announced on stage.

WHAT DID WE DO?

Our event management team stepped in to carefully design this bespoke event from start to finish. We gathered our top musicians to form a 7-piece Under the Covers awards band for the evening entertainment. We provided all staging, a dance floor, 55” relay screens for the presentations and a photo screen with a branded banner which our team designed and created as a backdrop. This was all alongside our state-of-the-art D&B PA system to ensure crystal clear sound throughout the evening and our impressive lighting and visual effects package. Our team were on hand at all times to ensure that the evening ran smoothly.

WHAT WAS THE OUTCOME?

Incredible client feedback – everyone commented on how the live music was truly outstanding. Guests also particularly enjoyed the spectacle of the sparkler pyrotechnics that dazzled the crowd as the winners were announced. The touch of the solo jazz saxophonist went down a storm. Another successful event with lots of compliments to the Under the Covers Wedding Band Team for all of their hard work.
